לוסיאן קריאף, יליד 1961, הוא פסל צרפתי נודע הפועל בעידן שלאחר מלחמת העולם השנייה ובתחום האמנות העכשווית. יצירתו האמנותית הייחודית וידיעותיו העמוקות בתולדות האמנות האירופית ובאסכולת פריז הפכו אותו לדמות מוערכת ולשם מוכר בקרב שוחרי אמנות ברחבי העולם.

כאמן אמיתי בלב ובנפש, קריאף לא הסתפק ביצירה בלבד. לפני למעלה מעשרים שנה ייסד את גלריית קריאף, שהפכה במרוצת השנים למוקד אמנות מרכזי ולכתובת מובילה לאמנים, אוצרים ואספנים. בזכות מחויבותו הבלתי מתפשרת להצגת יצירות ברמה הגבוהה ביותר, ביססה הגלריה את מעמדה כבית לאמנות עילית וחדשנות תרבותית.

פריצת דרך בזירה הישראלית

בשנת 2008 הרחיב קריאף את פעילותו האמנותית ורכש את בית המכירות הפומביות “מצ’ה”. בכך הקים את בית המכירות הבינלאומי היחיד שמקיים מכירות פומביות בישראל. בית המכירות, הממוקם בסמוך למלון המלך דוד האיקוני בירושלים, הפך לשחקן מרכזי בקידום והנגשת אמנות לקהל הרחב, תוך שמירה על סטנדרטים בינלאומיים.

LKG Gallery Founded by Lucien Krief in the late 1980’s, has acquired a worldwide recognition as being among the finest sources of Modern and Contemporary Art and classical Jewish and Israeli Fine Art, antique Judaica and silver. In addition, Mr. Krief, an accomplished painter and sculptor, promotes other artists and aids collectors in the development of their private collections.
