עינת יערי. שירת האישה השוקעת והולדתה של שפה חדשה מתוך כאב
עינת יערי היא אמנית שחיה על הגבול הדק בין התמוטטות להיוולדות מחדש. יצירתה נולדת במקום שבו הרגש מגיע לקצה, במקום שבו המילים מתפוררות והידיים לוקחות שליטה. שם, בתוך המאבק הגולמי, מתגבשת שפתה האמנותית הייחודית.
יערי אינה רק מציירת. היא מפסלת, שורטת, מדביקה, גוזרת, חותכת ומגלפת. כל פעולה פיזית הופכת אצלה לטקס הישרדות, לאקט שמאפשר לנפש למצוא פתח. היא מודה בכך בפשטות חסרת הגנה: זה לא יופי וזה לא שירה. זאת הדרך היחידה לא להשתגע. מתוך הצורך הזה צמחה יצירה אובססיבית, יצרית, מלאת דחפים עתיקים שמזכירים את הכוחות שמניעים מלחמות, אובדן וחיים שלמים התלויים על חוט דק.
יערי יוצרת מתוך כאב שלא נרגע. היא לא מפנה אליו עורף, לא מתרחקת. היא מתקרבת אליו עד כדי מגע ישיר. החומר הגולמי, מכל סוג שהוא, הופך לשותף במסע: אריגים, צבעי ילדים, רדי מייד, ענפים, תחבושות היגייניות. כל חומר הופך לכלי ביטוי. כל פעולה מעלה שכבה נוספת של זיכרון, רגש, שבר. עבודותיה מתנהלות כמו חלום מלא זירות שבו סצנות מתנגשות זו בזו בלי סדר כרונולוגי או מרחבי. הדימויים לא נולדים בהכרח מסיפור אחד. הם נשזרים כמו תודעה של אדם שמחפש מוצא מתוך סערה פנימית.
במרכז עומד כאב אישי עמוק שמסרב להתיישר לנרטיב ברור. הוא מופיע בסדקים, בתפרים, בשילובי חומר שמפתיעים גם את האמנית עצמה. מפגש בין חומר לחומר מעלה פתאום זיכרון מודחק, תחושת מחנק, או רגע של חסד שמתגלה בתוך העומס. בקול העבודות נשזרים גם הכאב הקולקטיבי של תקופה קרועה, של מלחמות ושכול. התוצאה היא גוף עבודה שמסרב להתייפות, מסרב להתנחמד. הוא חשוף, נקוב, מציף, ומעניק לצופה חוויה כמעט פיזית.
ובכל זאת בתוך האינטנסיביות הזאת מסתתרת תקווה. כמו אדם שמביט על תהום אך עדיין מצליח לשיר. עינת מציגה את הכאב ומזמינה את הצופים להרגיש יחד איתה. היא שואלת איפה זה פוגש אותם ואיך אפשר לשאת לרגע חלק מהמשקל. היצירה שלה מבקשת מגע אנושי. היא מחפשת נשימה משותפת, חיבוק שמאפשר להמשיך ולצוף.
עינת יערי למדה אמנות והוראת אמנות בבית ברל, וכחלק מלימודיה צברה התמחות גם בחינוך מיוחד. בהמשך הרחיבה את הכשרתה לתחום המולטימדיה והתלת ממד. משנת 2021 היא מציירת בסטודיו העכשווי לציור “הכולל” בהנחיית רן טננבאום וגיא אביטל. שני המורים, שהפכו עבורה לדמויות משמעותיות במסע היצירה, העניקו לה את המרחב להתמודד מול הכאב ולתת לו צורה.
העבודות של יערי הן עדות לכך שאמנות יכולה להיות לא רק פעולה אסתטית אלא גם מרחב של חיים. פעולה שמאפשרת להחזיק את הנפש. תערוכת “שירת האישה השוקעת” היא הצצה נדירה לעומק פנימי. אמנות שלא מפחדת מהחושך אך מצליחה בכל זאת לפסוע בו עם אור קטן שממשיך לדלוק.
יערי יוצרת. אחרת לא תוכל. היצירה היא יד שמושכת אותה כלפי מעלה בכל פעם מחדש. ולמרות שהיא חצי שקועה, השירה שלה עדיין נשמעת. היא פועמת בין שכבות החומר, בין העקבות שהידיים שלה משאירות, וממשיכה לחפש את המקום שבו הכאב מפנה מקום לנשימה.
Einat Yaari. The Song of the Sinking Woman and the Birth of a New Language through Pain
Einat Yaari is an artist who creates on the fragile border between collapse and rebirth. Her work emerges where emotion reaches its limit, where words begin to dissolve and the hands take over. In that raw territory a unique artistic language begins to form.
Yaari is not only a painter. She cuts, carves, glues, scratches and assembles. Every physical action becomes a survival ritual, a gesture that allows the soul to release pressure. She speaks about it with striking honesty: this is not beauty and this is not poetry. It is simply the only way not to lose her sanity. Out of that necessity rises an obsessive, primal force, echoing energies as ancient as war and loss and as intimate as the most personal wounds.
Yaari works from within pain that refuses to quiet down. She does not turn away from it. She approaches it until it becomes a direct encounter. Any material can become part of the process: fabrics, children’s paints, branches, ready-made objects, even hygienic products. Material becomes memory and gesture becomes emotion. Her works unfold like a multi-layered dream in which scenes collide without a consistent timeline or a clear space. The images arise not from a single narrative but from a woven consciousness made of fragments.
At the center lies a deep personal pain that resists being shaped into a coherent story. It appears through cracks, tears and unexpected material combinations. A sudden contact between two textures may recall a forgotten moment or release a long-suppressed feeling. Intertwined with this is the collective pain of a turbulent era, marked by war and loss. The result is a body of work that does not seek to please. It is exposed, torn, saturated and confrontational, leaving the viewer with an almost physical experience.
And still, within this intensity there is hope. Like someone standing at the edge of an abyss who nevertheless manages to sing. Yaari reveals her pain and invites viewers to feel alongside her. She asks where it meets them, how much they can bear with her, even for a moment. Her art seeks human contact, a shared breath, a touch that makes it possible to rise.
Einat Yaari studied art and art education at Beit Berl College, specializing also in special education. Later she expanded her training into multimedia and three-dimensional design. Since 2021 she has been painting at “HaKollel”, a contemporary painting studio led by Ran Tenenbaum and Guy Avital. These two teachers became significant figures in her creative journey, offering her a space to confront her pain and give it form.
Yaari’s work shows how art can become more than an aesthetic act. It can be a lifeline. A way to hold the self together. Her exhibition “The Song of the Sinking Woman” offers a rare look into the depths of an inner landscape. It is an art that does not fear darkness, yet manages to move within it with a small but persistent light.
Yaari creates because she must. Creation keeps her afloat. And although she may be half submerged, her song continues to rise from within the layers of material. It pulses through every mark her hands leave and continues to seek the moment when pain makes room for breath.
